“The Aletheia IQI spatial resolution target alongside their software will allow us to track our CT system’s performance over time. We plan on implementing the spatial target to determine our setup’s spatial resolution, measurement error, and measurement confidence. This will not only give us quantitative data that we can use to improve our CT data but will also give our customers confidence in the data that we provide them. The software allows for a semi-automated method to measure both 3D and 2D IQIs.”

“Aletheia’s software has opened up the possibility for true quantitative metrology and measurement confidence of such waste packages, thus enabling defects to be appropriately and accurately identified for evaluation, compromised waste packages to be eliminated before disposal, and overall confidence in the disposal of radioactive nuclear wastes to be maintained for generations to come.”

“I recently attended an engaging and informative course on µCT, delivered by Tristan Lowe from Aletheia Imaging Solutions Ltd. The training provided valuable insights on enhancing imaging techniques and ensuring safety in our scientific research and development processes. It also underscored the importance of adhering to standards to ensure accuracy in our work, and I hope this approach is widely adopted across the research community. I am eager to apply these learnings to contribute to AstraZeneca’s innovative projects.
