Software
The Aletheia software is supplied as a single package, meaning that you have access to all modules from the 2D / 3D IQI and RQI analysis tools, performance tracking and the scan optimisation module (Ariadne).
The software contains a range of IQI templates that can be used immediately. For the generation of bespoke IQI or RQI templates for specific components, these can be easily integrated into the software upon request and are linked to individual accounts.

X-ray Computed Tomography training courses
Aletheia provides three courses that are designed to explain the fundamental aspects of X-ray Computed Tomography (CT) to new adopters of the technology through to advanced instrument setup, optimisation and measurement confidence within industrial None-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) applications. These course are to all X-ray CT users, however courses are discounted for Aletheia software subscribers.
- The Introductory course focuses on the fundamental principles and good practice underpinning X-ray CT, ensuring trainees have a good knowledge of the instrument hardware principles and what constitutes good data collection.
- The Intermediate course builds upon these fundamental principles by introducing users to the correct use of 2D radiographic Image Quality Indicators (IQIs) for X-ray instrument optimisation, use of 3D IQIs for the optimisation of X-ray CT reconstructed scan data, and the signal profiling techniques employed in ASTM standards for defining spatial resolution.
- The Advanced course introduces users to the VDI/VDE 2617 & VDI/VDE 2630 standard for voxel calibration and the advanced principles behind image quality for spatial resolution and defect metrology measurement confidence.
